Raton Animal Shelter Renovation Update: Visits By Appointment Only

🚧 RATON ANIMAL SHELTER RENOVATION NOTICE 🐾

Renovations at the Raton Animal Shelter began this week, and we are excited to see this important work underway!

Because of the extent of the renovations and the active work taking place on the property, the Raton Animal Shelter is currently closed to the public except by appointment. The front gate must remain closed to keep visitors safely outside of the construction work zone.

Please do not wait at the gate or honk for assistance. Shelter staff may be caring for animals or working elsewhere on the property and may not be able to come to the gate.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while this work is being completed. Keeping visitors, shelter staff, workers, and our animals safe during the renovation is our priority.
