Oscar was originally adopted through the Raton Humane Society, and this decision has not come lightly. His family loves him deeply, and due to serious health issues, they must relocate and cannot take him with them. They are hoping to find him a safe, loving home where he can continue to be cherished.
Oscar is a mellow, affectionate dog who enjoys being close to his people and sharing quiet companionship.
This from the owners:
“Oscar is a neutered male between 5 and 6 years young. Very mellow most of the time. He does get excited to go for a car ride. He’s an only doggie kid right now but likes to visit his doggie cousins & other people cuz he loves scratches & loves tummy rubs. He’ll use a leash but pulls it. He doesn’t like loud noisy storms, wants to cuddle. He eats a small can of sardines per week. Also 1 cup of dry food morning & 1 at night.❤️
Please call 505-652-0592 for more information or if you are interested in having Oscar love you.”
He would do best in a home where he can be part of someone’s daily life, offering quiet companionship and receiving the love he is so used to giving.
