Vision

At the Raton Humane Society, we envision a community where every companion animal is safe, cherished, and given the chance to thrive. We strive to create a future where homeless pets find loving families, where kindness guides our actions, and where people come together to protect and celebrate the lives we share with animals.

Through compassion, education, and community partnership, we hope to inspire a culture of respect and care – ensuring that every wagging tail and gentle purr has a place to call home.

Mission

The mission of the Raton Humane Society is to protect, care for, and advocate for the animals who need us most. We work to provide safe shelter, medical care, and loving attention for homeless pets while we search for their forever families.

We are committed to reducing pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs, supporting responsible pet ownership through education, and partnering with our community to build a brighter, more compassionate future for animals and the people who love them.

Values

They Need Your Help!

Your support gives homeless and neglected animals the care, safety, and love they deserve.

Together, we’re building a more compassionate community — one rescue at a time.
